Six troupes compete for recognition at ‘The Massachusetts High School Theatre Festival’ as a judge’s unexpected absence fractures a century-old institution, exposing its fragility. Unfolding in real time over a single day, the film is a contained satire of the rules and behaviors participants perform to succeed within an institution.

His work is grounded in text and performance, shaped by a background in theatre and a focus on intention and subtext. He collaborates closely with actors and is drawn to contained, character-focused environments where tone and performance drive the narrative.
He is the founder of Holy Terror, an independent production studio developing original film projects.
He resides in San Francisco with his husband and their many house plants.
